POTTY THE PIRATE
AT THE
HAMPSHIRE WATER FESTIVAL
Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th July 2010
This photo shows Potty at the 2009 Hampshire Water Festival
Once again this year, Potty the Pirate and Spotty the Rat will be offering a water-based magic show at the Hampshire Water Festival. Professor H2O will also be there again, with his wonderful wacky musical inventions - watch him get tunes out of a bathtub and Potty's favourite - a real ceramic toilet!
Come along and learn all about how we use water, the water cycle, providing clean water to disadvantaged countries, and lots more; cool down in the "rain tent", enjoy free family entertainment, interactive water based games and activities, and buy souvenirs, specialist foods and lots more! There's also a great choice of food, so if you don't have time to pack a picnic, you won't go hungry. This really is a fantastic family day out - heaps of fun, beautiful surroundings - and educational too.
Staunton Country Park is 1,000 acres of stunningly landscaped parkland with ornamental lake, woodland and follies.
Staunton was originally the Regency pleasure gardens and parkland created by politician and botanist, Sir George Staunton. Once the grounds of a stately home, this is one of the most beautiful parks in Hampshire.
